“We wisely booked a table in the bar for the England v DRC match, the whole place was busy which provided a great atmosphere. A whole cross section of people were there, kids through to an older generation too. It was a little too early for us to eat, but the food we saw coming out looked really good. Service was good, the staff were all really nice, we will definitely be going back, well done everyone.”

“Not from the area, first time visiting and I found this place online and so glad I did. We had a shared platter roast dinner and it was delicious. All 3 meats cooked perfectly as was everything else served. Dog friendly, staff were lovely and were attentive, nothing was any trouble for them. Garden looked great for summer months. If in the area or passing through would definitely visit again.”

“Absolutely superb place. Second Sunday lunch here in a month and we will be back. The food is superb and the wine list also good. Service is speedy, friendly and everything right first time. You cannot go wrong if you choose the Nags Head for lunch. There is lots if choice in Henley and the Nags Head will not disappoint! Very handy for the station too.”

“Your team's personal service was excellent, however there are a couple of process issues you might want to look at..... When I originally wanted to increase my booking from a party of 7 to one of 7, your online system told me you had no availability throughout lunchtime on the 23rd. Had I been able to find an alternative venue you would have lost the booking but eventually called you up to speak to someone and found that, in reality, you could handle our group size. So your online system may be putting people off. Secondly, we paid a deposit up front. No problem with that but when the bill arrived the deposit was pro-rated across each individual item on the bill, rather than beiong shown as a separate deduction. This makes it practically impossible for a customer to check the bill!!”
